Flanders Creek is a family run endeavor with everyone sharing in the breeding, raising and upkeep of the herd. Several years have passed since the first goat, Brownie, was purchased. Little did we know she would start such a revolution and that our world would revolve around goats. Flanders Creek is owned and managed by me, Cheri and my children, Matthew and Elizabeth. We run a dairy herd of about 100 Nubian, LaMancha, Oberhasli and Alpine goats on 40 acres northeast of Chelsea, OK. We are members of ADGA, INBA, 4-H and FFA. Our current breeding program now combines natural breeding with artificial insemination. We've been busy collecting semen nation-wide from outstanding sires to infuse with bloodlines already represented in our present stock. Since vigorous stock is vital to any successful breeding operation, we follow a strict herd vaccination and worming program, as well as provide the necessary minerals for growth and overall good health. Flanders Creek is also involved in making custom, handmade articles for the home and personal use. Most articles are unique, one-of-a-kind keepsakes - we enjoy making new and exciting designs. One of the items we're best known for is our Quilted Goat Coats & Kid Coats. Each is individually made and quilted to help keep young and old warm in cold weather. We're happy you stopped by.
